The Meteorological Service The Service is part of the Civil aviation Direction (Ministry of Public Transport); it has the responsibility of the climatological measurements on all the national territory. Its activities which slowed down during the civil war, have started again thanks to the French-Lebanese Protocol which allowed the reconstruction of a network of climatological stations on the whole territory.
